Realplayer 11 cercherà di rientrare di prepotenza nel settore audio e video. Una delle tante feature è il già annunciato download (registrazione) dei video dai principali siti di videosharing oppure da siti che “incapsulano” (embed) filmati. Se non abbiamo disabilitato il checkbox relativo all’integrazione del bottone download (in fase di installazione), potremo collegarci ad esempio su Youtube oppure su Apple Trailers per poi vedere il filmato registrato comodamente offline. Si ricorda inoltre che non siamo limitati a registrare i soli files video , volendo possiamo registrare anche quelli audio: un collegamento di test a Radio1 conferma che Real Player permette la registrazione di flussi audio Real. Tutti i files vengono salvati di default all’interno della cartella Video, sottocartella Realplayer Download. Possiamo tuttavia cambiare la directory di salvataggio andando nel menu strumenti (tools), cliccando su preferenze (preferences) e spostandoci nella categoria “Download & Recording”.
